What is Accreditation?
Accreditation is an internationally recognised evaluation process used to assess an organisation’s ability to meet and exceed all criteria for their profession.
Accreditation is awarded by an independent accrediting agency (QIP – Quality Innovation Performance) once a practice has submitted evidence demonstrating compliance with the National Safety and Quality in Health Service (NSQHS) Standards.
The NSQHS Standards encompass regulatory requirements passed by both Federal and State governments.

One of the few dental practitioners in Australia offering zirconia metal free implants, Dr Licenblat is a renowned leader in dental implantology and is the first to place zirconia implants in Australia and NZ. Having undertaken a master’s degree at Goethe University Frankfurt in Germany he performs implant surgery on a daily basis and teaches the technique to dentists all around the world.

Dentists have a responsibility to keep learning and expanding their knowledge and skills, Dr Dean and Dr Melissa Licenblat take this commitment very seriously and are setting the standard in their field. Dr Dean regularly attends and lectures at surgical conferences both locally and internationally. He is Treasurer of the ASID (Australian Society of Implant Dentistry) and a senior tutor for the master’s program in Oral Implantology for Goethe University, Frankfurt with many Australian dentists graduating from the program being mentored by Dr Licenblat. He is also a member of numerous dental societies and shares an unparalleled dedication to continuing education.

Dr. Melissa Licenblat is a Principal dentist and has also attained a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry (Conscious Sedation and Pain Control) and is now primarily a practicing Sedationist. Dr Melissa’s warm and caring nature complimented by her extensive experience and skill will give you the peace of mind and reassurance that you seek and deserve. SDAI conveniently offers sleep dentistry/sedation all in house, no need to travel.
Latest in innovation, technology, and technique
SDAI prides themselves on being at the forefront of dental innovation and offer unique services including All-On-4TM, zirconia metal free implants, ozone therapy treatment, PRF and sleep dentistry. SDAI also utilises the latest equipment including state of the art CBCT machine to take 3D X-rays and a CEREC machine to make dental crowns in under an hour via digital 3D printing.
